Booking Terms

Booking Fees:
1. All new clients will be required to pay a booking fee at the time of booking.
2. All existing clients will be required to pay a booking fee seven days prior to their booking.
3. Appointments with unpaid booking fees will be cancelled without further notice.
4. The booking fee will be deducted from the final total cost of the service on the day of the appointment and will only be refunded in accordance with our salon policies, which is outlined below.
5. All online bookings will also require a booking fee to secure the booking.

Confirmation Text Messages:
1. Text messages are sent four days prior to your appointment, please reply a simple “Y” to confirm “N” to cancel or call the salon on 07 3205 8003, to reschedule your appointment. Please do not reply with any personal messages. It is an automated system.
2. If we do not get a response within 24 hours of your initial message, a second confirmation message and email will be sent three days prior. Failure to respond by the end of that day, we will attempt a phone call to confirm.
3. If we cannot still get in contact 48 hours before your appointment, your booking may be cancelled, and your booking fee will be forfeited.

Rescheduling Your Appointment:
10. If you need to reschedule, let us know no later than 48 hours before your appointment and you will be able to rebook your appointment to another time, your Booking Fee will be transferred to your new appointment.

Cancellations and No Shows:
1. If you:
1. Cancel within 48hours of; or
2. Do not show up to; or
3. Arrive late by 15minutes or more to your appointment, your booking fee will be forfeited. We understand that things happen and we may use our discretion and waive the policy where we deem necessary. We will also show the same courtesy by calling to let you know of any delays on our end. And in an event that may interfere with your time we will reimburse your deposit and look at rescheduling to another suitable day.
1. Scheduled appointments can be cancelled if more than 48 hours’ notice is given by contacting the salon during business hours, via phone on 3205 8003. Leave a message if there is no answer, or email us at banksiahairlounge@gmail.com
13. Scheduled appointments cannot be cancelled on arrival of appointment. If this is done, your booking fee will be forfeited and the total amount of your booking fee will be charged.

COVID - 19 POLICIES - Sick/ Isolating:
1. If you are sick with ANY cold and flu like symptoms lease reschedule your appointment immediately.
If you turn up to your appointment unwell you may be asked to leave and reschedule your appointment. Your booking fee will be forfeited.

Parking:
1. Plenty of free carparking in complex

Refunds:
2. For cancellations only, the booking fee may be refunded if more than 48 hours’ notice is given to the salon.
3. We will not offer a refund if you simply change your mind about the service received or product purchased.

Maintaining Records:
1. Our salon is committed about the privacy and confidentiality of personal and sensitive information. We ensure legal compliance by handling, protecting, and maintaining the security of information acquired from you.
2. We are not responsible for the collection, distribution, and handling of your personal and sensitive information by anyone who is not employed by our salon.
3. It is your responsibility to notify us of changes regarding personal contact details.
4. If a clause applies that obliges you to pay, you must do so immediately.

Guarantees:
1. Our team provide professional results using the finest products available. Banksia Hair lounge cannot guarantee lasting results unless you are using recommended home care products.
2. As per the Small Business and the Competition and Consumer Act, any problems with your service must be reported within one (1) week of the original service by phone call or in person. As per the Small Business and the Competition and Consumer Act, Banksia Hair Lounge will then fix the service or replace the product at no charge, within one (1) week of the report of the fault.

1. All prices include GST. All prices are subject to variation without notice.
